Decoding Dyslexia Colorado Joins Forces with Colorado Kids Identified with Dyslexia!
We are proud to announce that Decoding Dyslexia Colorado (DD-CO) is merging with Colorado Kids Identified with Dyslexia (COKID)!
Moving forward, COKID will continue as our primary name while also serving as the official representative of Decoding Dyslexia Colorado within the national Decoding Dyslexia movement.
For years, COKID has led the charge in advocating for systemic change, early identification, evidence-based interventions, and equitable education for children with dyslexia in Colorado. By aligning with the Decoding Dyslexia network, we are connecting with a broader community of advocates across the country while staying true to the mission and leadership role COKID has always embodied.
This merger enables us to:
Expand our voice nationally as part of the Decoding Dyslexia movement.
Continue driving systemic change in Colorado through legislation and advocacy.
Continue and expand our support of families and educators with resources, tools, and community engagement.
Continue to raise awareness about dyslexia to ensure every child gets the support they deserve.
While our alignment strengthens our reach, our mission and dedication remain unchanged. Colorado Kids Identified with Dyslexia will continue leading the way, now also representing Decoding Dyslexia Colorado as part of our shared commitment to improving the lives of children with dyslexia.
